Chocolate Marshmallow Fudge

Description

This delicious chocolate marshmallow fudge is rich, creamy, and topped with peppermint for a festive treat!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup hot chocolate mix (around 4 packages)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows (divided)
  • 1/2 cup crushed up peppermints (or candy canes)
  • 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Line a 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a double boiler, add the milk chocolate chips, semi sweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, butter, and hot chocolate mix. Stir constantly over medium heat until smooth and melted.
  3. Add 2 cups of the marshmallows and stir until completely melted and mixed together. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
  4. Pour and scrape the fudge into the lined baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining 2 cups of marshmallows on top of the fudge and lightly tap them in.
  6. Sprinkle the crushed up peppermints all over the top of the marshmallows.
  7. Refrigerate for 3 hours.
  8. Melt the 1/2 cup of semi sweet chocolate in a microwave safe bowl.
  9. Add the melted chocolate to a small zip lock bag and set aside.
  10. Take the fudge out of the fridge, lift out using the parchment paper, and cut into 12 squares.
  11. Cut the tip off the zip lock bag and begin drizzling chocolate over top of the fudge.
  12. Place in the fridge for 5 minutes to let the chocolate harden. Serve and enjoy!
