Description
Delicious chocolate caramel brownies topped with sea salt flakes, perfect for any occasion.

- 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks)
- 2 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 1/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 teaspoon sea salt flakes (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and vanilla until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time until the mixture is glossy.
- Stir in the flour until just combined and fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and drizzle half of the caramel sauce over it. Swirl with a knife.
- Spread the remaining batter on top, drizzle with the rest of the caramel, and sprinkle with sea salt flakes.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, checking at 25 minutes for doneness with a toothpick.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding chopped nuts or additional chocolate chips to the batter.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
