This Cheesy Chicken Garlic Bread is a delightful dish packed with flavor, perfect for sharing or enjoying as a hearty snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 large loaf French bread or ciabatta
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise. Place both halves cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Spread the garlic butter evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  6. Top with the seasoned chicken, then sprinkle evenly with mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are golden.
  8. If desired, broil for 1–2 minutes for extra browning (watch closely).
  9. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley if using, slice, and serve warm.
